I don't think it is healthy for your logo to look like every other logo you see on a website. Before placing a contest, you should be sure of what you want and what you are going for. Send feebacks for good designs, make sure that your logo design is quite different from other exercise and dancers logos. This is the only way your logo could stand out from the crowd. I think to have one or two sketched simple people dancing and exercising will look good both for corporate designs and tshirts.
