eBook Cover Design Brief
I wrote a three-part series based on my year in beauty school as a more mature student (34yo as opposed to the mostly 20yo crowd). It's called Hair AmErica, based on the blog of the same name that I kept the entire year. While there, I won many competitions, I was on student council, my mom passed away from cancer, and I traveled to Washington, D.C., to speak to Congress about colon cancer research and prevention (for my mom). It's got a bit of everything. The book is considered a work of narrative nonfiction or creative nonfiction. Basically, it's a memoir.
The three titles are:
Hair AmErica: Split Ends
Hair AmErica: Rinse and Repeat
Hair AmErica: The Last Tangle
So, three book covers altogether. Different colors but same theme.
(My name is ERICA, hence the clever title. Heh.)
Am willing to consider not using a colon after "AmErica."
Also, the way it's spelled...Hair AmErica...it's important to keep that capitalization because of my name in the word "America."
My pseudonym is Erica von Rath. That should, of course, be included on the cover.
The cover should meet the specs required for uploading to Amazon and Smashwords.
Thanks for your ideas! x
