Logo Design Brief
Freight Transport Association (FTA) is one of the UK’s largest trade associations and represents the transport interests of companies moving goods by any mode of transport. Boasting a rich heritage, FTA has been supporting the interests of members for over 125 years and is a voice of authority within the industry.
In addition to being a trade association FTA have a large commercial offering. This includes a tachograph analysis service, vehicle inspection service, an online shop, training, events and consultancy.
Words we would like people to associate with FTA are: Dynamic, Proactive, Collaborative, Visible, Brave and Agile.
Our vision is to be: 'A strong leader and trusted partner visibly driving the industry forward. Providing demonstrable on-going value, embracing change and utilising new technology, expertise and integrity to deliver an exceptional customer experience via a team of freight fluent professionals'
Our existing logo is widely recognised throughout the industry, hence why we are looking to refresh / evolve / progress our existing brand. Our new identity needs to be fresh, clean, modern, dynamic but also continue to reflect our heritage, our position within the industry and must remain accessible to our existing members.
Attached are 3 file. The FTA roundel, and full logo. We need 2 versions of our new logo. The full logo is used on letter head and official reports and the roundel is used on promotional material - both online and print.
