App Design Brief
Oomph is a marketplace for iPad App Templates (similar to WordPress templates). We want you to design an app template for sale in our marketplace which targets B2B or B2C Magazine Apps (iPad Apps created for examples such as Alumni magazine, employee magazine, sports magazine, fashion magazine etc).
It’s up to you to create pages or features for the App Template that you think are appropriate. Creativity will be rewarded! Here are some example pages or features that you could create:
• Contents
• Editor’s letter
• Event calendar
• News page
• Feature article
• Business articles
• Social media integration
• Animations and video
Your design should be Vibrant, Engaging and Contemporary. If you have an iPad, download Oomph Viewer and download template examples in the download tab.
Your entry must include:
• A brief description of your template
• Preview images of all pages of your template
Attached to this project are free templates to help you get started with your design. We have included:
1. A free portfolio template for designers/photographers
2. Icons and artwork to use in your template
3. Blank pages template
4. Form template
5. Video ad template
If you are selected as a finalist you will be required to submit an .oproject file containing:
• Your InDesign source files
• Preview images of your template
• All creative / stock assets used in the template (animations, video etc.)
• A text file with instructions on how to update the template
• A metadata .txt file containing template details and your information

I have received many screenshots with some great designs! I just wanted to clarify that you are designing Oomph app templates including Oomph features and not just page designs?

Before you start designing templates for Oomph Marketplace
· Read the Quality Standards
· Read the Copyright Information
· Use the Template Quality Checklist to ensure your template follows our guidelines.
What should my project file contain?
· A folder containing your source files, e.g. InDesign. This must be named Source.
· The Oomph content files. This must be named Bundle.
· Instructions, explaining to a customer how to use your template.
