Logo Design Brief

We need a logo design for a new company based in Oakland, CA. We develop artisan style, hand crafted ice cream only from local organic ingredients.

We would like to see designs with peacock.The final design needs to convey elegance.

Dimensions of ice cream container: 2.5" circumference and 3.5" tall (see Dreyer's ice cream container in uploaded images). The packing tapers down, gets slimmer as you approach the bottom. Its not wide and short like most ice cream packaging. Please keep this in mind when designing the logo. A logo that is wide will not fit correctly on our packaging.

Checklist for logo submissions:
1) Is the name "Ambrosia Creamery" easy to read?
2) Does "Ambrosia" stand out separately from "Creamery"? For example: making creamery smaller, different color, or different typography?
3) Does the logo utilize at least two of the suggested colors? (turquoise, purple, gold, green, blue, black and white)
4) Is the logo too wide? Does the logo utilize the space and shape of the ice cream container?
5) Is the logo feminine and elegant?
6) Does the logo suggest high end artisan ice cream?

  We would like to see logos with birds: dove, humming bird or peacock.

Nice to have

• Here are some fonts that I found on www.dafont.com (these may or may not help you). One of the biggest problems that we keep coming across is font choices. Our company name needs to be legible, clear and stand out from the logo.
  
  Sans Serif: champagne & limousines, caviar dreams, dolce vita, cafe & brewery, alpaca, ever after, thin lines & curves, sophisticated slims and libby.
  
  Script: limonade de camomille, blanc chateau, forelle, nouvelle france, birds of paradise, channel, coneria script, gabrielle, mademouiselle k, ventilla script, and ophelia script.

• women, hearts or sexual innuendos
