Logo Design Brief

Sweet Temptations has been handcrafting chocolate since 1979 in small batches. Blending locally sourced ingredients with the best chocolate from around the globe to create our unique versions of chocolate as art.

We would like to see designs that are simple, modern and contemporary yet elegant. The final design should communicate: CHOCOLATE AS ART.

Each slider illustrates characteristics of the customer's brand and the style your logo design should communicate.

Requirements

Must have

• Must look good on black background. My preference for this logo is a wordmark logo like Godiva or Compartes chocolates. It needs to look good on a black box. Please keep this in mind when designing the logo.
  
  The box style and shape will be exactly the same as the Compartes Chocolate box (see picture below).
  
  We have two sizes of boxes:
  
  5 pc box - 162 x 44 x 25 mm
  10 pc box - 187 x 85 x 30 mm
  
  Before submitting your logo concept; please ask yourself the following questions?
  
  1) Is it clean, modern and elegant?
  2) Is it on a black background?
  3) Is the font easy to read?
  4) Does it have an artistic flare?
  5) Is the font in one of the following colors: white, turquoise, or gold foil?
  6) Does Sweet Temptation stand out from the other wording? (ex: Chocolatier Est/1979)
  7) How will this logo look on a rectangle box? (see: Compartes Chocolate box in uploaded images)
  8) Is it a word-mark logo?

Nice to have

• We were originally going with an art deco styled logo, but so far that style has not quite worked out. We are open to different styles and interpretations now.
  
  Our favorite packaging and logos are the Godiva and Compartes Chocolates (see pictures below).

Should not have

• No women or sexual innuendos. No designs with hearts.
