We need a logo for Mercury Market Development; this is a new business that will focus on consulting with pharmaceutical companies and pharmaceutical advertising agencies. We will partner with them to focus on: Brand Communications, Market Optimization, and Strategic Alignment.
Considerations: Mercury was chosen as the name of the company since in Greek mythology, Mercury was the patron god of financial gain, commerce, eloquence (and thus poetry), messages/communication; a keeper of boundaries; and depicted holding a caduceus (noted to be a symbol of medicine). All these attributes associated with Mercury align with the services we will be providing to the pharmaceutical marketing community.
Prominence and priority of names. In designing a logo we are open to seeing either of following two options:
• Mercury Market Development all to have the same level and equal priority in the logo
• Mercury to be the priority focus of the logo, with Market Development being secondary in the logo
Tone of logo should convey high science and approachability with a visual association to Greek mythology Mercury and the services the business will provide.
For color, we would like to avoid any use of the family of reds, including pinks in the logo. We are open to other options you would consider to represent our company.

- Would like to see some representation of the Greek mythological Mercury and our services, as visual supplement to the name: Mercury Market Development
Should not have
- No 'fun' or 'playful' fonts. If using the "Mercury shoe wings" in the logo design it should not look like the FTD (US Florist) logo.
