Don't do the Illustrator file yet. :)

I should be meeting with my client at the end of the week. I have many other hand drawn drawings that were submitted which I will present. If my client likes your direction, I'll have you provide the Illustrator drawing.

I know this is a different type of logo (cartoon), so I wouldn't want you to go to the extra trouble if the client doesn't like the design.
