Logo Design Brief
For the last 25 years we have simply called it "The Barber Shop". We have since remodeled and are now getting a web presence and are ready to market the business with the new name "South Austin Barber Shop". We have a logo we have used all these years but now I would like to incorporate it into our new name. I am not changing the logo character except the color of his bow tie or possibly a modern twist to it as one designer has already done. The logo has sentimental value to our family. The logo design will be used on the front window, website, street signage, and promotional materials. I've attached the logo character and one picture of the inside of the barber shop. In a nut shell I would like to have a logo design with the name South Austin Barber Shop, the logo character, and the tag line "Barbering at its Best" and maybe "Since 1989" or " Barbering at its best since 1989" in there somewhere....Good luck and thanks! ...Tom

Nice to have
- Im thinking the text "South Austin" should be different than Barber Shop
just something in my head..definitely not an absolute I'm also open to any font styles
Should not have
- I do not want an old timey looking design. I understand this contradicts our logo character but my boys are in their 20's and most of their new customers are as well. Our mission statement includes the phrase " We strike a unique balance between old fashion barbering and modern hair cutting technique"
