Logo Design Brief

we need a logo design for a new painting business in canada named : Peinture M.L. et Fils . We would like the logo to represent the 3 generation of painters in the business ; Father, son and grant-son . We had the idea of the classic human evolution picture passing from the monkey to the man progressively. ( this is just a suggestion any good idead will have our attention) .we would like to see at least a paintbrush or something relative to painting in the design . Finaly, we would like the logo to contain only 2 or 3 colors .
