Logo Design Brief

'Homeward" is a collaborative partnership approach aimed at creating systems change within the local (Southern Murrumbidgee area of NSW) homelessness service system.

Five homelessness/housing agencies (have joined forces create and sustain):
• A centralized, locally accessible system which provides one pathway with many solutions to address clients’ needs
• A system underpinned by the philosophy and principles of ‘Housing First’ approaches which provides the ability to intervene early and provide a rapid response
• Client access to a range of Housing Solutions within the social and private housing sectors
• A highly integrated, responsive and streamlined service response providing a strength based, client focused and specialist response tailored to individual needs
• A system which utilizes best practice, continual evaluation and evidence based research to continually improve the effectiveness of the response in meeting client needs and maximizing the use of resources

Anticipated outcomes of the partnership:
• People who are at imminent risk of homelessness are identified and supported to remain safely in their existing housing, or to secure stable housing
• People who experience homelessness are rapidly and safely re-housed
• People who are in crisis are provided with safe and secure accommodation and supported to access stable housing
• People who are re-housed after becoming homeless are supported to stay housed
