Logo Design Brief
BATL (Backyard Axe Throwing League) is a Toronto based organization that's looking for a logo. Please visit our website at BATL.CA
That's right - people show up, throw axes (at targets!), and have fun, it's that simple. We support both leagues & events, such as birthday/ wedding parties, corporate team building etc.
We have 2 logos right now, but ideally we want something a bit cleaner that what we've been using so far, & that communicates what we're about. With this in mind we drafted the 3rd idea attached, which is to use the 'T' in BATL as an axe.
Please see examples attached (the 3rd file is white text on white background ... background should be black to view properly).
Updates
Hi everyone - we love what we've seen so far! Some initial feedback for everyone after sharing with a few people is:
a) please focus on hatchets/ normal axes in the design rather than double sided or battle axes,
b) ensure 'BATL' is clearly visible ... and don't spell out the words 'backyard axe throwing league" ... displaying the website batlgrounds.com is okay though.

Hi guys - a bit of further feedback ...
There's been lots of cool 'metallic' looking submissions, which carry associations with medieval/ knights/ battles etc., but please keep focus more on wood/ lumberjacks/ rustic themes. thanks!
