Logo Design Brief
We are a group of women who are professional romance writers for some of the top publishers in the industry. We meet on a monthly basis to network and trade knowledge on books, writing, and changes in the publishing industry. (Want to know the current status of Hatchette V Amazon? Ask us! :))
We're looking for a logo for use on a group website, as well as other marketing materials. We prefer a logo that incorporates an image with the text, and communicates professionalism without losing the sense of "fun" that romance novels can bring. Our authors write across a broad range of heat levels, from "sweet" inspirational novels to 50 Shades of Gray.
Currently we're leaning toward a logo that uses primarily monochrome blacks/whites/grays combined with a bold splash of accent color(s), though we're always open to someone surprising us with something awesome and unexpected.
Books, computers, pens, quills, and other writing paraphernalia welcome for images. No Fabio! (We love naked man chests as much as the next lady, but we want to stay on the tasteful side of flirty.)
We're staunch supporters of imagination! (Hey, we do it for a living!)
