What dimensions would you like the image to be? Some T-Shirt vendors have specifications to follow. Also, depending on the size and placement of images can affect your cost per shirt.

Please advise.

Thanks!

Hi Mindy!

We've never done this before, and at this point we don't have a vendor chosen, so we really don't know what dimensions we want. Is there a somewhat standard size? And we are willing to pay extra for the shirts in order to get a great design that people will actually wear, so the size and placement as related to cost aren't a concern to us.

Thank you,
Jenny

I realize that we only have a few days left for the designing process (unless you extend the due date) but it would really help out on the design end if you could find a printer now and let us know there guidlines. There are mainly two types of t-whirt printers; screen printers and digital printers. I personally work in a screen printing company, so I know the limitations it holds. While you can do a lot with screen printing, I think the look you are after will be better achieved with a digital printer. With that in mind, digital printers have certain guidlines. Just like your home printer will only take so larg of paper, the artwork can only be so large on the shirt. I will try and come up with something for you, but doing some research on the next step in the process is only going to help us... the designers, better achieve what you are after. While I do not like to push people to move there original date, you can always give us more time as well if you feel it will help everyone involved. Thanks for the invite.

Thank you for the input and the explanation of the difference between a screen printer and a digital printer. We will start looking into printers now and provide some more detailed info asap. We can definitely add more time to our deadline if needed. We will just be out of town without internet connection for about a week and were hoping to not have to be out of contact while the project was still going on.

Hi Jenny,

Thank you for your invitation. I am working on design concepts and will show a design after 12 hours. The design is always depends on type of printer one is using. However, i will make a design that won't make any problem for you.

Regards,
Julia
