Web Design Brief

- This is for a layout design of the home page only. No coding required.

- The design must be based around the attached HPID (home page information design). The table boxes are just for approximate placement of information – you DON'T have to make it look exactly like this. Information only is in orange text. Copy to go on the design in black text. Some instructions are in the HPID. Please be creative! You don’t have to use the exact images provided if you have a better idea.

- The design needs to be professional and modern. Fonts used except in the header must be Google fonts.

I've attached:
- HPID (information design) as a Word doc and PDF
- the logo. Please use the colours from the logos in the website design. Lots of white too.
- images for the gallery
- icon examples for the buttons for under the gallery - these aren't high resolution. If you have access to better examples please use those instead.
- logos of accreditations for that section
- background image that you may or may not use. This image is used in the business folders and business cards and I've got an example in this folder. If you can incorporate this into the design you may but it's not compulsory.


The winning PSD file will have to be provided as follows…
1. Canvas size of 2000px x 2000px - 72ppi in Adobe Photoshop (CS5 compatible)
2. Width of content section is 1100px wide - centered in the canvas
3. Header height (without nav bar) 150-160 pixels.
4. Any button rollovers/hovers in the PSD as hidden layers.
5. All fonts used must be Google fonts (except for the header fonts).
6. You will need to supply the chosen home page plus one example page (example page as a style guide for how all other pages will look). Example page is only the header and navigational bar at the top, an empty sector in the middle with a column (180 px wide) which can be left or right aligned which means the main sector is 920 pixels wide, and then the footer at the bottom of the page.
