Landing Page Design Brief

* The current job listed is a quickish redesign job. However, we are actually looking at working with a web designer long-term, which will include quite regular design work. So even though this is a smallish job, we’d love you to respond, as if you do a good job on this one, we would love to continue working with you on a more regular basis.

** We’d prefer you respond to this job only if you are interested in ongoing web work (at a reasonable/cost effective hourly rate) and are highly competent in the following areas – top quality design, word press, php, shopping carts/e-commerce, web video – bonuses are flash & SEO.


Current Job - General Job Requirement:

1. To spruce up our existing web page - http://www.healthspeaker.com.au/index_newdraft.php - so that it looks;

- More professional (as you can see, it looks a bit amateurish at present.)

- More modern/stylish


Background:

1. The website is for me as a speaker going and doing health and work-life balance talks to business groups.

Obviously, when they see our site now, they might associate my seminars with say a $1000 seminar fee. We want to attract buyers that might spend $3000 or even $5000 for a seminar. For this, we obviously want the site to look much more professional/stylish.


2. Also, it’s important to note that this site is exclusively for google adwords. Please imagine that you of a large company with 100 - 500 employees and you are organising a conference for them. As part of the conference you want to get a guest speaker on health, well-being or worklife balance. You search on the Internet with keywords such as 'health speaker', 'lifestyle speakers' etc, and you come to this website. So the website you design, should be appropriate for these people - IE have them want to contact me for my services.

Specifics

1. Use all the text (and take note of the extra notes in green) that appears on http://www.healthspeaker.com.au/index_newdraft.php .

* Note: This is just a draft page for the real site page that will eventually go up on http://www.healthspeaker.com.au

3. delete the Nav Bar (the new design will be a single page with only a contact_form page (http://www.healthspeaker.com.au/contact_form.php) & a testimonials page (http://www.healthspeaker.com.au/healthspeaker_others.php ) that it links to.
* These additional 2 pages DO NOT need to be done now – they will be done as a freelance job once main page is completed.

4. delete my photo from top left

5. add the green screen video - green screen_home - where it is mentioned on the web page. ** we obviously just need this converted from green screen background to suit the web page – please do so & maybe put it in a nice video box/screen with stop/play buttons so it looks more professional.

6. include a few photos/images (mainly the ones attached) throughout the page. You may like to use new ones for the header etc (we are happy to purchase any images that are suitable, if reasonably priced).

* DO NOT use images of everyday people doing exercise/yoga, eating fruit etc – if you do use such photos, they should be of 'corporate/business' people.

i) in the section on ‘About Mark’ - could you please include the image of the book cover (attached as ‘Book_AncientWisdom_ModernHealth_FBCover’

ii) in the section on 'Package Extras & Follow-Up Support’ - could you please include the image of ‘Healthy People Healthy Business' ebook cover that appears at top of http://www.healthspeaker.com.au/hphb.php

7. All the page text and heading text etc can remain the same, but change fonts to suit.
Feel free to do as you wish regarding the page header, paragraph headings, and adding in any little images/or anything else that you think will help fulfill the brief.

8. We still want the site/page to look ‘clean’ and easily readable (not too busy, and not too many distracting images) – white as the text background is generally what we like for this.

9. Re; the bluish button mentioned on the web page for text such as
‘I would like to receive a detailed flyer outlining specific outcomes for one or
more of the above sessions’ –

it should look something like the like the blue buttons at bottom of my web page.
