it should be a simple classic type of school logo which has our school name( Pre-Berkeley) on it.
please check out the U.C Berkeley logo and the seal logo first when you get a chance.
 we want something like that but a little different.

our students are studying and preparing for going to U.C Berkeley. so it's technically an U.C Berkeley prep(boarding) school.
please let me know if you have anything in your mind.

Being interested I just submitted a design. It may be a little different from your guideline and also as the U.C Berkeley logo is very old style I tried to make it modern.

I tried to express your motto and plan of "Prep-school" or preparation center. As it is more like a tutorial center than a school I didn't used school buildings....

Hope you will prefer this..waiting for your feedback....
