Logo Design Brief
We are a new church, Mountain City Church, only a couple of months old) looking for our first ever logo and branding. We are located in Jasper, GA - a growing rural/mountain community just North of Atlanta, GA. The city is known as "the first mountain city" because of it's physical location in the foothills of the Appalachian mountain range and once served as the trailhead for the appalachian trail.
We have a great desire to be a church that is centered on Jesus Christ (gospel), places priority on relationships over programs (community), and is intentionally engaged in life in our city and with our neighbors for the sake of restoring/renewing what's broken here (mission).
The city and local schools use a kelly green color in their logo/uniforms/landmarks. Because of our mountain location, greens and browns, warmer colors that reflect the surrounding natural beauty (in the fall the leaves changing is pretty dramatic) might be good colors to use. Feel free to use whatever colors you like, I'm open to other ideas.
I've attached a PDF file, "The Unfolding Story" that I have used in limited number in our community and will likely have in some form on our website. Maybe you'll find it helpful in some way.
