Character Design Brief

devios.org is an upcoming website with resources for Apple iPhone, iPod touch and iPad developers.

dev is short for "developer"
iOS is the name of the operating system used by Apple's iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. It used to be called iPhone OS.

Obviously the website name is very similar to the spelling of the English word "devious", and that is the main keyword to consider in the design.

I want a logo that combines a treatment of the text "devios.org" or "deviOS.org" (without the quote marks) and an associated "devious" character. I will consider head-only characters and also full-body characters (head-to-toe).

The character should represent an iOS programmer in some way. So he is both devious, but maybe also a bit nerdy (but don't go overboard!).

FreeBSD Devil:
Nice character, but don't make it too similar to this. The character should be unique.

Consider alternate shapes like the square heads in MiniGore. Square body too maybe? Just an idea.

I may want additional poses of the character at some point, but not as part of this job.
