Logo Design Brief

What do we need:
A simple logotype that will be easy to remember and recognize. The logotype will be placed on banners in points of sale such as small and micro stores. In addition, it will be placed in interfaces of our devices (our software) and our web site and used widely for branding everywhere. The purpose of the logotype is to serve for recognition by clients, to tell them that in the place where our service is offered they will find fast (as of transaction speed) and reliable (a transaction always goes through) service. The absolute majority of our clients, at the moment, is a low-mid income class. The logotype in any part should not obviously repeat logotypes and known brands (Slight similarities may be accepted).
The logotype should contain 2-3 colors, such as on the logotypes of CosmoPro and Qiwi (Those companies is a part of our group).
The logotype should contain text "Caja Express".

Who we are:
Our main business is mobile phone balance top-up with the main service providers Claro 80%, Tigo 9%, Movistar 8% and the rest. However we will be diversifying our business with the main development directions – electronic payments to other services, E-wallet, IT services in the e-payment industry (programming software and consulting) and beyond. In 2 years, at least 80% of our income will be from those new services. For processing payments, we have Java applications for phones, Win application, POS and Self Sevice Kiosks. The location of the company is country Colombia and in the nearest future (5 years) we’ll be present only in the local market, with the possible development in other Latin American countries further.

What to consider:
Our company name is “Caja Express” that in translation to English is something like Express Cashier (or Express Point of Sale), but it also can be translated as Box Express ("Caja" has double meaning in Spanish), so designing the logotype be careful not to create it in a form that will confuse our clients making them think that we are a mail courier company, however a slight similarity may be acceptable.

Our competitors:
MoviRed is one of the biggest and most active one, followed by Fullcarga, Baloto, Conexred/Puntored. The rest is insignificant, but present and recognized.

Done definition:
The logotype upon completion have to be provided in the format of Adobe Illustrator in vectors, if any fonts is used it should be also attached.
Each logotype will be evaluated by our partners daily, if everyone agrees that a logotype is the one that we are looking for we’ll accept the job immediately.
After design is accepted there will be future requests for designing the company style.
