Hey Henry, that's what Design Crowd is all about. Submitting a better design than the next guy. If you don't have the confidence in your work to jump in the mix, then don't. But it's pretty uncool to come on here and fish for work.

I'm sorry if I have insulted you anyhow, I understand your point and keep it to myself next time. I am only participating in design jobs here.

But by looking at your portfolio, I do not even understand why are doing spec work. There are plenty of graphic design jobs available, where you can be guaranteed for getting paid. In my opinion, crowd-sourcing work is good when you are just starting out. But if you are already advanced, then it's just a waste of talent and energy.

No hard feelings at all. I stay pretty busy with my full time gig, as well as my freelance projects. I don't really spend too much time on Design Crowd. Only when I have a little spare time, and even then, I cherry pick the ones I want to work on. Sometimes I can spend as little as 10 minutes on a design, and have won plenty of those. I have even had ongoing relationships with companies that have chosen my design. One company has turned into 10 grand a year in freelance work. Granted, the pay isn't that great at the outset most of the time, but I don't put a ton of effort into it either.
