Logo Design Brief

I need a logo for a brand new Surveying Company based in Adelaide South Australia, of which I am the owner.
My nickname is "Fish" and i love working in remote areas of Australia including the Strzlecki and Simpson Deserts,
Hence I have called my new company "Desert Fish".
I am thinking of a design that incorporates my company name with images with Australian outback colours such as red sand dunes against azure skies and of course a 'Desert Fish".
Modern land surveying uses latest techology like robotic Total Station instrumentation and GPS receivers, so a 21st century twist would be great.
