Logo Design Brief
Aloha! I am a real estate broker that specializes in leasing and selling property on the esteemed Kalakaua Avenue in Waikiki. The street is akin to some of the most famous streets in the world such as 5th Ave in NY, Michigan Ave in Chicago, Champ Elsysees in Paris, etc. My clients include international retailers, brokers from other states and extremely wealthy Landlords. What sets me apart is my attention to detail and high level of hands on customer service. I am to make it easy to acquire extremely difficult real estate.
I am creating my own company and I want it to feel more fashion forward/boutique operation than corporate but also have some sense of being located in the unique environment of Hawaii. Once I have a logo, I will be looking to hire a designer to do a website for me - Wordpress most likely. Here are a few broker's in my line of work that have great website/logo.

Here are retailers that has a good sense of being in Hawaii- see colors and would like to see more of this to differentiate me from the above examples on the mainland US:

Here are one's I do not like that are too corporate feeling but are in my field:

Requirements
Must have
- The logo/ colors should feel contemporary (like the townsend & associates and RKF) not stuff old school (like Colliers, CBRE, Cushman Wakefield) but also have some link to being in Hawaii. It should seem elegant, approachable and also forward thinking (ie, social media fresh).
Here is a website for inspiration as to what I mean by contemporary island identity:

Good Luck! Can't wait to see what the creative world has to offer me! :) I need the design to be in high resolution (vector?) so it can be reproduced in the future on business cards, posters, websites etc...
Nice to have
- would be nice if it felt dynamic like it pops off the page as if it has 3 dimensions. see Collier's logo that has some gradient color change to make it seems more than flat.
Should not have
- prefer it not to be flat. want to avoid hawaii cliche like palm trees unless you find a very elegant way to incorporate it that feels fresh. See "must have" section. Mahalo!
