T-shirt Design Brief

Iron City is a music venue in Birmingham, Alabama. We’re looking for a t-shirt design that is dark and leaning towards menacing. For this design we would like something that is masculine and strong. This design will appeal to our heavy rock and metal fans.

The design must somewhere say Iron City, or IRON CITY. And we want our city and state on the design; Birmingham, Alabama . . . or BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA. In large print or small, in script or block letters . . you decide.

Our name is representative of Birmingham's history as a leader in iron and steel production in the late 19th and early 20th century. Our design could reflect a bit of that history incorporated with the present growing music scene here in Birmingham. It could show musical elements, or not. It could show an iron worker, or an iron worker’s silhouette. It could show an Iron Works. . It could show other elements. The design could be centered, but off-center might be preferable. We’re not fond of symmetrical. But hey, you might show us symmetrical works well. Give us some options. The design can be front, front/back, or all over. Whatever works best with the look that you are trying to accomplish.
