We are looking for the right brand.
Choosing an unique business name is important and requires a creative thinking. So I haven't done it yet. However my thoughts circle around one of the following words: Locus /Latin word for place/; Vista; Aspect; or any word associated with good emotions and/or cosiness of the own home. please, feel free to suggest names.
Below is a brief description of the business concept.
The business model:
Home based, real estate agents with good local knowledge to work across London. One office – hundreds estate agents who work from home.
No expensive high street offices. It is not the just the next web based agency. We will offer everything that traditional agencies offer but not inside a shiny and expensive high street office.
The company’s image:
The city is multicultural. Look for words and symbols that will create nice emotions in everyone. Be original. Avoid the typical for the industry and boring symbols like houses OR If you use them try to do it in a clever and original way. We try to look different. Remember. Sometimes the successful design is not associated directly with the industry but with the emotions and feelings of our customers /for example the fruit Apple has got nothing in common with the computers but the bitten apple is symbol of the the forbidden fruit and the desire to try something new/. Keep the logo simple and easy recognisable.
Imagine the emotions of the customers. They expect to be met by a friendly and experienced team and this is what we want to impress on them – trust and affability. Choose the right colours and don’t forget to include at least one additional colour variation.
With no high street offices, our leaflets, website and other advertising materials will be the first think to make an impression to the customers. the design must be easily applied on them.
Buying or selling a property for many people is something extraordinary. It’s not like buying groceries - many of us will do it once or twice in life. Our homes are the places where we relax, laugh, love. Place where we spend the time with spouses, kids, friends and pets. Place where we find safety and privacy.
Bottom line: Keep it simple, be different!
Yes, its not easy but is challenging.

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: Guys, I received good concepts, but I need a shortlist of at least 6-7. I would like to allow a bit more time and thats why i am extening the deadline by one week.

Guys, here is an idea. You know when you look for address on Google maps its shown on a map with a red pointer that looks like an upside down water drop. if you can try to play with this shape and the letter "o" in Locus. I would like to see what happens.
