Poster Design Brief

I need a poster design for a summer festival of short comedy plays in San Francisco, all with a historical or intellectual theme! From Ancient Greece to the Russian Revolution to Cold War Politics to College Admissions! The target audience demographic is 20-30 year old San Francisco "hipster types" who will be attending a food truck festival. The festival performance dates are Friday evenings, July 22 to August 15! We would like a clever, antique looking design that conveys comedy and history. We would also like the names of the plays, all by the same author, Jake Rosenberg, on the poster as well! The titles are:
