Logo Design Brief

I need a logo design for a new holiday shopping event called Merry Marketplace, taking place this Dec 7. The design should target women ages 35-54. It should be horizontal so that we can use it for many print and media applications. I would like to see the name Merry Marketplace in a "merry" but not hard-to-read font. Can be whimsical or curly, but not linked in script. There should also be artwork that conveys a woman and maybe wrapped gifts, but no shopping bag (a local show that I directed at my kid's school had a graphic with a woman with a shopping bag, so I don't want to appear that we "copied" that one). It should be no more than a two or three color design, but we should be able to print in it black and white as well. I'm looking to turn this project around quickly! Thanks!

Since you are all from different parts of the world, I realize the word "holiday" might mean vacation to some of you. In this event, holiday implies the Christmas gift-giving season.


Envision me placing this logo on an billboard that says

I need the logo to convey the fun of women shopping for Christmas gifts at this one day event.  
I'm not totally against shopping bags, but wrapped gifts send the message better.
