Any reason why the project is not guaranteed..

by Maps on Wednesday, September 19, 2012

Hi,

Thank you for inviting me to this project, I was just wondering if you could please elaborate on some details of the project before I being work on it.

1. By "traditional" do you mean a serif type? (serif as in the letters have flicks at the end of strokes like times new roman instead of straight lines like arial).

2. The pinched rectangle idea is a bit difficult to do in order to fill the K letters at both ends as the b and k letters in the middle of the work "kickback" will loose their top parts making them unreadable. I'll submit a version but I was wondering if you could elaborate on this idea a little more and link to something similar looking just so that I can meet your vision.

Thank you,

Designers,

Thank you for your interest.

In regards to guaranteeing the project, it is a preference of mine to start design crowd projects in the refundable stage, as a way to assure that my brief accurately reflects my needs. With that said, early returns have been positive and the funding has been switched to guaranteed. I look forward to your ideas.

As far as "traditional" is concerned, I''m looking for something that is strait forward and clean. Probably more arial than serif,  but open to interpretations.

The "pinched" concept is very important to the project. At the moment I do not have any examples to link to, however if you submit an interpretation, I will do my best to provide more detailed direction.

All the best

Greeting designers,

It seems that there may be some confusion in regards to the brief. It was my intent to communicate the need for each item listed. That is every submission should contain 10 items. I am not looking for single logo but more of a text suite with various interpretations, that can be used across multiple products. The best format for submission is 2 columns on one sheet with 1a-e on the left and 2a-e on the right. Please let me know if you have any questions.
