Logo Design Brief
I am a photographer looking to establish a professional image for my photography. I am looking to establish a photojournalistic career. I enjoy street, event, and wildlife photography. I'm stuck on if the name should by simply my name. I'm open to suggestions for something different, but the photographers name is pretty standard in this business. I have envisioned the "o" in my name having the look and feel of the lens aperture, but other than that I have no specific wants or needs regarding the logo.
I mostly need a good logo to brand my website, but also would love to have something that could double as a watermark on my pictures. The watermark isn't as important as branding my website, though.
Updates
I have updated my brief as I see a trend in what I am liking. There are so many good designs, though!!!
I really like my initials being used as the primary focus and my name being secondary, below the icon created using my initials. Also, I am leaning towards more grayscale designs with a small touch of one color: teal/turquoise or orange.
My largest goal is to get an image that will be used to brand my website. I was hoping this could also be used to watermark my photos, but that is NOT a necessity.
Thanks for all the great designs and quick turn around on my feedback! This is an awesome process!

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: There have been a lot of great submissions and I haven't had enough time to critique them all. I'd like everyone to have sufficient time to make adjustments and/or come up with new ideas.

Target Market(s)
Mostly corporations, magazines, and research/news. However, I will be doing some family type photo sessions. So I want to stay clean and elegant but not completely serious.
