Logo Design Brief

I am a photographer setting up a business and starting with a website, and am therefore looking for a logo. Primarily, as I say, the logo needs to be used on a website but also it needs to be something that would work on a business card too.

The business name is PhotoMonkey and I would like the logo to incorporate those two elements somehow. When people look at it logo I want them to instantly think "Oh, that's a photo-monkey!"
If you use a camera in the design, it needs to be a professional looking DSLR type camera, not a compact camera

Also, I would like the graphic part of the image to potentially be able to stand alone and work without the text but still suggest 'PhotoMonkey'

In terms of other brainstorming ideas for you, my primary focus is landscape photography so it might be good to incorporate that somehow - and being in New Zealand's Sth Island lakes and mountains are a strong feature. As I say, just brainstorming ideas though - obviously it doesn't want to get too cluttered.

In terms of overall impression, I'm thinking fun but not irreverant (it's a professional business after all) and there are no set colours. Classy but not stuffy.

For text on the logo, it must have 'PhotoMonkey' but I'm unsure on also to include 'Photography' and/or my name 'Andy Holt'. I'm open to persuasion.

Updates

Just as an extra thought - no-one really seems to be coming up with designs of a monkey using a camera or a monkey carrying a camera. I'd love for a few designers to possibly explore this as the graphic part of the logo

Not set in concrete that this is what I'd want to see in the final design, but I'd at least like to explore it.
Thanks so much

Just as an update to brief, I wanted to re-emphasis the sliders to the designers. After receiving a number of submissions I've nudged the sliders around a little bit - towards the serious, elegant, modern and upmarket ends of the spectrum.

That isn't to say that it should be completely towards those elements, (a business with the name PhotoMonkey needs to have a glint in its eye!) but some of the designs I am receiving are a little too fun, playful and economical and I realise that I may have misled some people.

The fun, playful element needs to be understated but still there, rather than the over-riding suggestion.

Thank you.
