Logo Design Brief
We are a husband and wife who finally realized our dream of owning an operating our own semi-truck. We are based in Canada and take pride in keeping the truck in top condition. We need a logo that we can put on our vehicle (doors and mudflaps), on our letterhead, on business cards and on our cheques. We are an open minded, educated and artistic couple who cares for the safety of all the other people with which we share the road six out of seven days a week. We give to the less fortunate, have respect for other cultures, plants and animals. We have driven on ice bridges with Rocky Mountain Doubles and we drive Turn Pike doubles on the main Canadian highways. We don't think other people in our profession understand how important designer skill can be and that some things are better left to other professionals. Elephants are one of our favorite symbols of strength and pride!
Updates
Just some ideas and tastes we were throwing around with enthusiasm for this project:
we like circles, round shapes, damask feeling prints, the palette of blues, gray-blues, grays, bold oranges, fresh greens, the delmonte banana symbol, dots of the letter i in a different colour than the rest of the letters. We'd like the O in the word Olephant to be really special.
we like the idea of the way elephants travel with the smaller elephants holding on to the larger elephant's tails with their trunks. We like asian and indo-asian influences.
These aren't must haves but it's meant to help give ideas... we're quite excited to see what will come!
Project Deadline Extended
Reason: We will have a decision and post the winner on Monday the 8th of November.

- Original characters in the text. Curling, elegant handwriting? e.g. http://www.webermercedes.com/
- Weber Motors text is very nice. Also like round and clean fonts (e.g. century gothic)
- We would like an elephant in the logo, preferably the whole body with strong tusks. Trunk up or down, whichever makes a more pleasing shape. We are open to our initials (Oei) with the full name underneath, or just the initials or just the full name.
Should not have
- complicated shading or beveling or drop shadows or novas or flares. Please no more than three colours. Two colours and white and/or black would be best.
