Logo Design Brief
We need a logo designed for a nursery school based in the UK. The business has been in operation since 1997. We have a logo but I am looking for something new. Something fresh and innovative. The logo should appeal to our target audience - professional parents of children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. It should also appeal to the children at the nursery. I would prefer if the design stayed away from using the usual " building blocks" " Alphabet letters" normally seen in logo's of this nature. Feel free to run wild with your imagination :)
Our current logo ( attached ) was drawn for us 16 years ago .. it has served us well but it is overly complicated and needs to be brought into the 20th century.

Thank you to all designers who have already submitted logos for my brief. Can I just highlight to everyone the logo needs to be child friendly not too "corporate" looking. I need a logo that will appeal to an adult but also to a child coming to nursery ..

- Clean, fresh uncomplicated but appealing design. Colour is important.
Nice to have
- The bridge is not 100% necessary depending on the design. The nursery used to be sited next to a river .. hence the bridge .. but no more.. however the name of the nursery still suggests there is a bridge somewhere so bear that in mind..
I have attached a visual of a mural in the nursery - our wall of animals .. I would not be adverse to using animals in the design as long as they were friendly and cute :)
Should not have
- Building blocks, stick people, clowns in the design. Stay away from cartoon style images.
