Whether one is downsizing from a family home, moving into a care facility or has experienced a death in the family 55 + has the competency and compassion to make that particular life event a less stressful change. Through our years of experience and comprehensive planning we strive to remain professional and will always remember that what is business to us is always personal and emotional to you and your family.

Pre-Relocation

• Full consultation and assessment
• Inventory of furniture and all other applicable furnishings
• Create floor plan of new location; provide measurements
• Assist with sorting, organizing and downsizing
• Pitch and ditch
• Scheduling
• Determine sentimental and practical value of furnishings
• Contact and work with all family members
• Arrange for donation, resale or shipment of various items
• Utility transfers and address changes
• Cleaning services
• Document shredding
• Removal of toxic materials (paint, oils, etc.)
• All packing needs

Day of / Post Relocation

• All moving and transportation needs provided by 55 +
• Unpack
• Furniture set up according to floor plan
• Electronics reconnected, clothes put away, pictures hung
• Cleaning and trash removal

Estate Services
55+ Relocation Services can provide for and take care of all aspects of estate settlement. Such service offerings would include previously described and include such things as: arranging for the profitable disposal of unwanted items through auction, estate sale, consignment, donation; shipment of items to family members; selection of realtor; getting home ready to be sold. Other particular services can be discussed and agreed upon.
