Just to remind designers that although we are looking to keep the logo together, we do want creative ways to keep the words separate to take attention away from "tit".

Thanks Nephi and Jennifer.

Hi,

Is there any update in this contest?
Thanks.

Regards.

The contest has provided us with some great designs. We''ve got some great ones towards the close making our initial final few even more and difficult to choose from.  We have been discussing on Friday what is best suited for our application and also most appealing and readable to the consumer. Sorry for the delay, but the quality of designs continued to be submitted have made it hard. Being a new company taking on a distressed company, we also are having to focus more on long term direction with products and the logos are helping inspire us there.

That's what you chose? Really?

Yes, it was a really difficult choice.  We have had some brilliant designs in colour and creativity.  Perfect for business cards and ecommerce.  We really wanted something that was glance easy to read, and had ease of application for all platforms. There were 4 final designs that kept coming up top in polls and we selected from a combination of those, what we liked, and what was good for practical application on a budget.  It did mean compromise for the 3 parties involved! We have also gained opportunity to diversify our range, and so majority will be fashion accessories, but as we may expand the novelty section, we chose a logo that could be applied to both genres.  It was a very difficult choice as there were graphically better ones than we selected. Ones more appropriate to just fashion. But the selected choice we feel gives good practical application and is genre specific enough for the longer term use.  We''d like to thank everyone for their efforts, truly!

"There were 4 final designs that kept coming up top in polls and we selected from a combination of those, what we liked, and what was good for practical application on a budget. "
Does that mean you took ideas from some designers, such as my talk bubble, and got another designer to put it all together?

Oh I see what you mean. Absolutely not. This was just coincidence. We understand the viewpoint. But this designer simply had a similar idea to you. But when given feedback on separating the words but keeping all together, a different interpretation as you can see was given. Perhaps my wording in my last post should have read "combination of things;". We didn't influence any designers to change their design outside their concept. Only to tweak it, with minor changes. We didn't ask anyone to change it to create a hybrid design with another design we liked. I really wish you could have seen all the designs. Some similar but a good variety. A few gadgety logos, many corporate styled ones, some fun ones, but with over 100 designs you will have to accept some chance of similarity in concept along the way. Again thanks for everyone's efforts.
