Banner Ad Design Brief

We require seven banners to freshen up our website (www.g3remarketing.co.uk).

G3 is one of the UK's fastest growing online vehicle remarketing (auction) companies holding weekly sales via our bespoke web-based platform, open to both the trade and general public.

G3 acts as an agent and sells vehilce on behalf of fleet, leasing and finance companies. We bring together sellers and buyers and take a small commission for our services.

We promote certain clients via our website and require replacement banners creating ever month to freshen up its appearance and appeal to existing and new users.

The successful designer will have supply the source files in HTLM/CSS format.

Currently all the banners that we have on our website (with the exception of Lex Autolease) look very similar and despite them carrying the corporate identity and colours of G3, they may not be as visually striking as some of our competitors.

I've included a number of examples (file names 'Auction') - these are banners that are currently in use by other auctions but give you an example of how they successfully promote their sales compared to how G3 promotes ours.

All the new banners need to be fresh and varied - we do not want the same banners just changed slightly and the customer logo added. must always be the most recent models - images of models that have been superceeded make the banners look dated immidiately.

Banner 1 - Off-site Auction (+ mesh banner)

We hold remote off-site auctions on the first 3 Wednesdays of every month. In these online auctions, we offer c75-100 vehicles but only Vauxhall cars such as Corsa, Mervia, Astra, Insignia & Zafira. We are not allowed to refer to the manufacturer (Vauxhall) in name or logo however we are permitted to name the models (as listed) and use images as a visual reference (only use current Vauxhall model images - no other brand for this one please). Please view attached banner (GM Jan 14) as an example of what we currently have.

We have a few key messages to deliver:

Sale time - always commences at 11AM
Sales held on the first three Wednesday's of the month

We can ditch the rest of the information that on the existing banner to make the new one more striking - bolder images and less text.

Banner 2 - Citroen & Peugeot Financial Services (+ mesh banner)

This is the finance arm of the manufacturer and G3 hosts fornightly online auctions with c75 vehicles in each sale.

We are allowed to use all three logos (Citroen Financial Services, Peugeot Financial Services & Autobank - with the first two being the most prominent please as Autobank only have 'select numbers' and is not as well known as the other two divisions.

All images must be of Citroen or Peugeot vehicles

Main messages that we need to deliver:

Volumes - c75 per sale
Vendor online for immidiate decisions

Banner 3

LEX Autolease (+mesh banner)

One of our newer vendors. We need to promote these auctions and create a design that we can use on multiple publications (further work to the successful designer in the near future)

LEX is the UK's largest leasing company and G3 now hold an online auction every month with c60 vehicles.

The vendor is always online to provide immidiate answers which needs to be promoted. We can use any images but ideally exec vehicles such as BMW/Audi/Mercedes etc.

The next Lex auction is on 12th June

Banner 4

Euro Car Parts

Offering a large selection of commercial vehicles every fortnight (+25) for the UK's largest car part provider.

All these commercials are high mileage, blue Peugeot Bipper vans but are great value for money. Need to include image/s or the same mentioned van/colour.


Banner 5

The Funding Corporation

Large entry every week of vehicles from this finance provider. The value of these vehicles are usually sub £4K and therefore images need to be basic vehicles such as Focus, Fiesta etc

Banner 6

G3 Automotive Software Solutions (+mesh banner)

G3 also create bespoke software solutions for the automotive industry. Development includes:
Cascade white label auction platforms
Asset management systems
Recovery & Logistic software
Image & inspection software

We want to create a new banner to help promote this area of our business which not many clients know about but is an expanding sector for G3. The emphasis needs to be on technology with an automotive angle.

Banner 7

RMS Receivables (www.rmsreceivables.co.uk)

G3 also operate an automotive-only debt recovery business which collects a range of debt at the end of contracts. Our recovery services include:

Excess mileage
Damage
Shortfall

We only deal within the automotive sector and offer bespoke solutions for leasing and finance clients.

Banner 8

Next Gear Capital (+ mesh banner)

This is a new Stock Funding facility that allowers approved deals to finance 100% of the auction purchase price. This new facility will assist buyers in purchasing a greater volume of stock.

Questions will be answered and the project updated with any further information that might be useful. We need to get these banners live no later than 5pm on Monday 19th May so the clock is ticking!
