Logo Design Brief

We specialise in the alteration of clothes. We are located in a highly respected department store (Fenwicks) in the North East of England. We service the local customer who tend to purchase high end designer garments. Our alteration services range from the simple to the most complicated of alterations. We pride ourselves in our customer service and we are renowned in the area as being the best. All of our staff are qualified tailors.
Logo will be used on all forms of advertising - so white background would be preferential.

I will be asking the design winner to design a business card and letterhead too.

I would accept visuals of scissors, tape measures, threads etc in the design if appropriate. I have attached the current logo which needs updating and re freshing

Target Market(s)

Men and Women who appreciate fine clothes & spend money on purchasing designer clothes. Appreciate the importance of a "good" alteration.

All ages although mainly 25-50 years.

Must have

• Clean, non fussy design. Must be able to replicate on all forms of marketing material.
  
  Must be clear to target audience as to the service we offer without being "average" .. we are different to most alteration services in our area.. we want our customers to know that too..
  
  Must have the name " Barrington Alterations" included in the design.

Should not have

• Overall old fashioned feel to the image.
  No complicated fonts - keep it clean and easy to read.
