App Design Brief

We had an iphone/ipad app built (freelancer), without any real design applied. Currently just made up of plain buttons and text. No colors, images, etc.

App is about 20 total pages, and contains a login window, a main menu, and then several different options that pull data via web services from our back-end.

About the app:
The application will be used by physicians, who are in essence speakers who are speaking on behalf of pharmaceutical companies, to train doctors on the use of their products. They will use the app to get a list of their upcoming speaking engagements, calendars, access to slide presentations, and the ability for them to submit expense forms with pictures of receipts, etc.

We need the following things:
* An App Icon
* An iPhone startup screen
* Two iPad startup screens (one portrait and one landscape)
* Color schedme recommendations for the pages
* Page design recommendations: header/footer

The iPhone and iPad startup screens are screens displayed while the app is loading (splash screen). They are simply a large version of the app's logo (with differing dimensions) and maybe some extra detail as the space allows more. The iPad and iPhone screens can be identical, but please note the size. orientation and aspect ratio differences.

Keep in mind that we are looking for page design recommendations as well. We could provide sample screens with text, and then are looking for recommendations on color, and general page design.

A successful designer may also win several other apps currently under consideration.
