Logo Design Brief

Design a logo and/or logotype for LoveBase. This will be a centre offering workshops, trainings and events around the theme of love and sexuality. The logotype can be either in in UPPERCASE, or Title Case i.e LOVEBASE, LoveBase, or even LOVEbase. You can experiment with options such as two different colours and differentiating the two words "Love" and "Base" with colours, weight etc, but the design can also be one colour/weight.

The design can either be a simple typography, or also combined with a symbol. But please do not use a heart or gender (male/female) symbols as this is too obvious.

Modern and sophisticated. Sans serif font. But appropriate for a centre that aims to build a good,professional reputation i.e. not too funky or crazy. Elegant and simple. We would aim to also use the logo embossed on high-quality textile items such as white towels, or judo-style garments

Requirements

Must have

• Must be able to be printed in greyscale as well as colour i.e for black & white laser printing. Must be legible at a scale as small as 4cm width.

Nice to have

• Includes version with strapline and without strapline
  Ability to edit the strapline ourselves
  

Should not have

• No heart symbol
  No male/female symbols
  No overtly sexual images or icons
  No serif fonts
