What I mean is that we shall be retaining the 'brand name' = Nene Catering Equipment, rather than any 'existing designed brand image'. I have changed the working in the brief to change the word 'brand' to 'name'. Sorry for the confusion.

Vector logo? We don't have a logo. The intention is to bring into line the Nene leterheads with those of Wilson Electrics, maybe with some modifications. We have no existing images/artwork for Nene

Can I just clarify....

You are retaining the Wilson style of logo and you would like to create a Nene Catering logo in the same style as Wilson logo.
If that's correct, designers need the original logo (Illustrator ai or eps file, vector) and ideally your current letterhead artwork.

You are correct in your interpretation but we do not have any file to which you refer. It may be that these are held by the previous Designer but I no longer have access to these.
