Logo Design Brief

We are a new technology company based in the UK called Barracuda Systems, we offer bespoke software solutions to our clients as well as Hardware and Software consultancy.

As a first step we require a corporate identity from which we will create our stationery and websites. Our preference is a design that is personable (no harsh edges or all straight lines etc) but still portrays a professional image.

This identity will be used in various formats (web, stationary, slide shows, image watermarks, etc), therefore the designs submitted need to be flexible enough to allow different layout, size and maybe colour options.

Whilst on the subject of colour, we are offering free reign at this time, the only condition is that consideration has to be made for the formats we will be using the identity in MOST IMPORTANTLY the web.

It would also be a huge help when deciding on which design to choose if you could describe and/or show us how you see your design fitting in with a stationery set.

Target Market(s)

We are primarily concentrating on local SMEs to start but we will be aiming at larger corporations in the near future.

Requirements

Must have

• The marketing of the company is going to be split into two divisions "Barracuda Systems" and "Barracuda Software" and thus the logo text (and tag lines if included) must be provided in a format that will be editable.

Nice to have

• We would prefer to see some 'form' or 'representation' of a barracuda in the design but would not be against seeing a different graphic if you feel it better suites the design.
