Brochure Design Brief

The need is for an 8.5” x 11” single sheet (might be front and back, as required) to promote our company. Mag’s Monograms, LLC provides personalization (monogramming) services as well as the items themselves, for business owners and consumers. Our company currently provides:
- Hats, Visors, Tee Shirts, Polo and Dress Shirts, Sweatshirts, Hoodies, Sports Wear (team clothing) Shorts and Shirts, etc
- Canvas Bags and Totes, Fleece Blankets and Throws, Backpacks, Reusable Grocery Bags, etc
- Men’s and Women’s zippered jackets, pull over jackets, Fleece jackets
- Children’s Shirts, Bibs, Towels
- Will work with customer’s current custom Logo
- Will work with customer to create new company logo
- Customer can view all items on website www.magsmonograms.com (new site coming soon….)
Project needs to speak to three main concepts 1) Embroidery name, initials and logo on items, 2) [heat] Transfer names, initials, logos and graphics on items and 3) custom logo work.
Target market for this brochure (although we’d like to have it a little bit generic for other uses, if possible) is brand new business owners who have just purchased equipment to start their own business. These folk are attending training classes and this brochure will be a part of the training section that has to do with ‘creating your business image and start some Brand recognition’. The trainer will speak to the importance of them creating their own company image and this brochure will be placed in their take home material.
Things we like:
- White space
- Pictures / graphics of items, product and people
- A spot to input the ‘current’ special
- Our Company Logo and colors (red green beige)
- Spot in the brochure for the ‘current special’
- References to the web site
- Suitable for 3 hole punch (attention to the left margin)
- Professional appearance
Things not so good:
- Dark gloomy backgrounds
- Very tiny small text
