Hello, My name is Pete Buffington, I am a best selling aviation author. My book "Squawk 7700" has consistently been in the top 5 best sellers in aviation on Amazon for the last 5 years. I've recently completed a 2nd book. It takes a step away from the subject of aviation and is titled "The Most Efficient Way to Publish an eBook". My previous illustrator is no longer available and I am seeking someone to help complete an eBook cover (eventually paperback as well) for my new novel. I have a solid idea of what I am looking for in my mind. I have attached a rough graphic sketch of what I am seeking. I have received two, pre-release endorsements for this book from prominent organizations in the literary marketplace.
I would like someone to use their creativity to help design something futuristic and unique. I am willing to allow you to develop a cool, mystical cover but with my guidance.
I envision cropping the main body of a similar vortex image from a photo like this, to include the vortex's flaring out and in at top and bottom:

Reduce the size of the cropped vortex image, and have it 'coming out of', the center of the book in this photo:

I understand this photo would also need to fit the height/width requirements of the book cover.
This vortex (or one similar - made of clouds/mist - or even a swirl of letters/words) would come up to the center of the cover, and an eReader device would be embedded behind and just at the top of the vortex. The eReader could be slanted slightly at an angle - sucking the words/letters out of the old book. The eReader would have my previous book's cover "Squawk 7700" in it somewhere like the kindle fires display like the attached photo.
The Book's title would fit above the the eReader in the darker/black cloud area (in a color theme that matched - maybe a Neon Light Blue color - I like a Tron Neon color theme). With my name "by best selling aviation author Peter M. Buffington" across the bottom over the wooden planks from the dock (in a different color).
I would be OK with just doing the Front Cover image for this, as a back cover is not needed for an eBook. The cover requirements are listed here https://kdp.amazon.com/help?topicId=A2J0TRG6OPX0VM
"For best quality, your image would be 1563 pixels on the shortest side and 2500 pixels on the longest side"
The book's title and subtitles will be as follows "The Most Efficient Way to Publish an eBook..... by best selling aviation author..... Peter M. Buffington". Smaller text across the bottom cover - "eBook publishing with the highest royalty return for the independent author"
