Web Design Brief
Dear Designers,
I have an interesting brief for you. My client is a skilled teacher who is looking to promote her consultancy that provides bespoke training and support to other teachers.
She would like a website that promotes her philosophy for working with children, which is essentially that she wants to create a fun and creative learning environment for them, whilst maintaining the professionalism that is also required to succeed. Representation of the balance between these two points is crucial to the design.
Typically these kind of websites are pretty boring so we need something fun and vibrant, not uninviting ie those typical images of a teacher sat behind a desk or anything overly formal.
Here is an example of what we do not want: http://www.theeducationalconsultants.co.uk/ - in this one although my client liked the layout, she hated the graphics.
Here is a website that she really liked and captured the vibe of what she is trying to promote about herself: http://www.sayescourtchildrenscentre.com/ - this design indicates fun with learning, happy kids, lively colours and still has a professional feel as well.
If you have any further questions, please ask
Many thanks,
Lewis
PS Enclosed please find a whole bunch of resources (including site map) for this project. My client has supplied graphics, page content and plenty of visuals so hopefully this will make things easier
