Logo Design Brief

I need a logo that will be my corporate identity across my web, shop and branding materials.

the company is a fresh, startup company based in Edinburgh.

I have not created any branding yet so open to a strong set of colours to represent my brand.

the company will be a new place based on the maker revolution and a place where people can create, learn and enjoy access to new technology. it will encompass the spirit of fun, electronic, cool, innovative and be a source of inspiration across many industries. it is a company offering cool services that encompass 3d prints/video and photo products. it is urban and takes its art form seriously.

the company wants to lead the way in Edinburgh and use the identity of Scotland as a starting point to connect with the rest of the world. it wants to have unique printing facilities and shared spaces to listen to music and shoot photos whilst prints take place. it also opens into the corporate market place to support prototyping and architecture based projects. it wants to involve itself in science festivals and provide support for green projects that can make the world a better place.

I don't want anything that directly associates itself with edinburgh but something that preserves the integrity and beauty of edinburgh if possible.

personally i love electronic music, sports, technology, learning/sharing, media forms such as photo/video.
