Packaging Design Brief

We are a young husband and wife team who have worked in the wine industry for 10+ years. This year we've finally had the opportunity to make our own wine and release our own brand. Our wines are boutique and sell at a mid-premium price (we don't make a lot) so we're looking for a label design that can reflect this premium nature and mixes traditional design elements with modern reflections.

The brand is called: A&R

Project Deadline Extended
Reason: We've received some great design concepts over the past week which we would happily pay for, so we've decided to guarantee payment and extend the deadline to allow time for more designs to be sent through. A BIG thanks to all who have already submitted, your designs are still under consideration. Cheers, R.

A big thank you to all for taking the time to submit your beautiful designs to our project.  We now have the very tough job of looking over each of them and selecting only one.  We hope to come to a decision in the next day or two, so hopefully we won't keep you waiting too long!

Cheers, and thanks again

A&R.

    3. Elegance
    4. Restricted use of colours (ideally just black/grey, white/buff and perhaps one other)

Some design examples of what we like:
    1. http://www.tarandroses.com.au/sangiovese-tasting-notes/
    2. http://yabbylake.com/Wines/Yabby-Lake-Vineyard/Range/2010-Yabby-Lake-Single-Vineyard-Pinot-Noir-.htm
Should not have
  • Preferrably won't have any photos or drawings unless you feel there is a simple symbol or image that could be used to enhance the design.

Restricted use of colours - more muted, conservative tones.
