App Design Brief

1. I want to catalogue my vinyl record collection, because it's hard to remember all the albums (and singles) I own, and that's a problem because I sometimes double up.

2. I'd like to identify my music by a) artist b) album title c) song title

3. I'd like the option of recording the quality of the album just in case I happen to find one that is a better quality

4. I would also like the album cover image, genre, record label, track listing and production date to automatically download

Target Market(s)

There has been a huge resurgence in the vinyl record market lately, but lots of people also have a CD collection. I want this app for the over 45s who have better things to remember than which albums they have!

Requirements

Must have

• 1. Be able to list my music by a) artist b) song title
  
  2. Ideally, i would like to work with the designer when its time to update the app in the future.
  
  3. Be creative, if I've left something out - put it in! Have a go!

Nice to have

• 1. link to something like Shazam - so i can identify songs
  
  2. I would also like to list my singles
  
  I would ideally like to use this app on my iPad, and of course my iPhone - but, i dont want the iPad app to look like a cropped version of the iPhone app (is that possible)?
