Banner ads for do-it-yourself website maker

Hello, I've submitted 5 designs so far, some feedback would be greatly appreciated. Few ideas on what other text to put on the banners would also be appreciated, because I'm little at a loss here. Hope to hear from you soon.
Levardos.
Levardos,
Good question. I was hoping the designers would be creative .. I''m so close to the product that it is hard for me to know what the good selling points are that work as advertisements.
That said, a few ideas:
- Are your customers thinking about you? If not, would sending a newsletter remind them you exist?
- Simple widget-based websites. Photo galleries, sliders, message boards, visitor feedback, newsletters, blogging. All - no programming, and no cost.
- Is your website or blog hosted on shareware? How about free hosting, free tools, free templates and a do-it-yourself system that will have you live in minutes - on enterprise class servers and software?
- Want to blog? Want to blog today? How about starting FREE in the next 10 minutes. CLICK HERE
- What''s your website address? Don''t know? We can help. Free.
... I am sure there are lots of good ideas out there... but...if I come up with them, that would spoil the fun!

Hello, I just wanted to ask where do you want to place the banner? It would help a bit seeing the colors and space there determining an alignment ect. Thanks in advance, Marcia.
The banners will be run on a wide variety of websites.
We offer free sites and blogs, but make money two ways: either by placing ads on the websites built using our system, or our customers have the option to pay us ($99/year) and we don''t put ads on their websites.
These banner ads will be used randomly to replace any unsold inventory on our customer websites. Because they are going onto a wide variety of different sites we don''t know what color background, or color schemes will be on the websites where these banners are displayed.
We have two locations where we''ll be displaying the ads: the top of webpages and the bottom. So, about half the time the ads will be at the top of the page, and the other half at the bottom. We''ll be cycling through them in the hope they we''ll be giving people multiple reasons to sign up - until something convinced them.

I see, so you want the logo inserted? I did not add it in many of my banners (only one I think) as I thought that they would be used on your site and a repetition would be unnecessary. If yes, hope that you do not mind I shall modify them later.
Marcia2,
I''m not that hung up on having the logo. The honest truth is that our logo isn''t all that well known. My philosophy is that if something is in an advertisement, and it isn''t selling ... it is taking up space for no good reason. The goal of an ad is to get people to click on the ad and ask for more information. I care that potential buyers see a strong message that makes them want to learn more about the product .. and I don''t think my logo is so well known that anyone is going to click on my ad because they think my logo is attractive. I think we need to tell people what problem we solve - and hope they want the solution enough to want to click on the ad. Period.
My only other comment is that, because our site is blue, I am seeing LOTS of blue banners. I like blue, and like my logo - so, both are fine. But, that said.. the "winner" is going to be based on the set of ads that I think will most attract clicks. So - people shouldn''t limit creativity. Do what you think will compel people think I offer the solution to some problem that they have. Whether the ad is pink or orange or purple or blue... is less important to me, than if it somehow reaches out and grabs the person reading the ad and convinces them that they must click the ad (that we do something that want done)

All:
This project is for TEN banners. Some of the designers have presented one, or two, or seven banners. I''m not sure what to do about those designers. My suggestion would be that they round out the selection to TEN, so that they can be considered when I compare banners tomorrow.
