Logo Design Brief

Freelance Photographer based in the South of Portugal but not specializing in any specific area. Logo should be generic enough to be associated with various areas of photography not one specific.
I need a design that can be used on Website (www.daraclephotography.com), on stationary and eventually on Polo shirts (embroidery).
The Current logo I have is merely used as a watermark on my photos and is taken from a previous name I used which was Daracle Digital (hence the capital 'D' interlocked with the lower case 'd')
The word 'Daracle' is derived from my Name 'Daryl' linked with the word 'Oracle' - "A person considered to be a source of wise or correct knowledge and opinions".
Aim that knowledge and opinions at photography and we have the base of my business set.
However, the time has come now when I need to give myself a totally new, fresh, modern professional design.
Naturally the logo should be simple, attractive and colorful. My current logo (home made) is green and black and although I'd like to continue to see these used, it's not a requirement.
