Web Design Brief

Perfect Meal Plans is an online, membership based program that delivers weekly meal programs (7 days worth of recipes plus shopping lists) carefully crafted by an expert team of meal planners. All recipes are created to comply with the following macronutrient ratio: 65% healthy fats, 25% lean protein, 10% good carbs.
All recipes are Paleo friendly and a great resource for those individuals who want to correctly implement this type of diet.

We are re-designing our website and need the following pages designed:

· Home page w/ logo
· How it works page
· Get Started! page
· Recipes Page template (these will be the pages on our site that will have recipes)
· Kitchen Essentials Training page (this will be a page with videos and tips + tricks, PDFs, etc)

So 5 total PSDs, 1 for each page.

Target audience: Men and women between the ages of 30 and 60 who want to:
· Eat healthy
· Lose weight
· Follow/Implement the Paleo diet
· Take the guesswork out of preparing delicious AND healthy meals for them and their families
· Know exactly what to eat, what to buy, how to make it

Feelings/Messages we want to communicate through the design:
· “Organic” but elegant look
· Fresh/light/Airy
· Simple but NOT GENERIC
· “I want to get cooking” feeling

Our Stylistic preferences:
· Minimalist with a few bold elements (something in between)
· Easy to visually navigate (enough white space, but not too much)
· There is more to “see” than to “read”

Our Color Preferences:
· Lighter pallet
· Colors that evoke natural woods, granite countertops…
· Stay away from using all dark colors

Our Font Type Preferences:
· Easy to read
· Not more than 3 font types
· Not too rigid
· Not too sophisticated
· Simple with a touch
