Dear all,
More designs are being submitted now and start to see some attempts which addresses all the points in the brief and I am starting to think that this logo request might actually succeed. I''ll try to give you individual feedbacks shortly - need to think a little first as seeing your suggestions of course also starts to make it more clear to me what I asked for.
In general I can see that one difficulty in this particular request is to include all elements while making it dynamic and powerfull in a way where it''s still coherent in style and having some natural confining boundaries. I can conclude that I prefer suggestions without a clear line boundary but there still must be a natural boundary of the logo defined by the composition.
My feeling with some of the suggestions is that they lack consistency in style. Like a collection of clip arts with slightly different expressions. That combined with the many elements creates a incoherent whole.
Also I can see now that something powerful and dynamic might be possible without an eagle at the top. Please consider versions without an eagle. In general the eagle looks misplaced in most of the suggestions I have seen although some actually get it working. An alternative could be either with no "top" graphic or maybe something else...a crown??? Also the incorporation of a shield in the crest looks like an angle that could work.
So in summary - think about the boundaries of the logo, consistency in the style and be creative on the top part (an eagle is not necessarily the right solution). Thanks :-)

Dear all, we are getting close to the deadline and I have received a few proposals which fulfills the brief requirements and has some quality. I am not fully satisfied yet and I have of course provided some feedback to the current proposals. But I do encourage you all to submit more as I think there is room for improvement and still a fair change to take the prize if you nail it.
